Lesson #18: Introduction to Transforming Sinusoidal Functions
Learning Target
T6.1: I can describe the effects of transformations on the graphs of a sinusoidal function (sine or cosine).
T6.5: I can write the equation of a transformed sinusoidal function (sine or cosine) given its characteristics.

Videos
This video introduces the concept of transforming sinusoidal functions. Note: Ms. Havrot uses different variables for some of the transformations, but you should be able to follow what she is saying. In the next lesson, we will look at examples where several transformations are applied to the graphs of the sine and cosine functions.
Practice Problems
Note: This semester we will only be looking at equations of sinusoidal functions where the angle is given in
degrees.
